The Art Of Cooking Camp! Ages: 8-13

JUNE: 17-20 The Art Of Cooking  

This week, students will be participating in a hands-on experience to learn about different aspects of the kitchen. They will become familiar with various kitchen equipment, understand the importance of safety, learn knife skills, and maintain hygiene. Once they have mastered these skills, they will have the chance to create their dishes such as pizza, tacos, French toast, and sushi! We will also focus on teaching the foundations of flavor, where students will taste different ingredients to gain a better understanding of how they work together. At the end of the week, students will create their own cooking book recipes by illustrating and writing the recipes that they have learned. They can even use their drawing and painting skills to make their book more appealing!
